A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. My role is to help you feel informed, confident, and supported throughout your birth journey.
No. We do not provide medical care or replace your healthcare provider. We will work alongside your medical team to provide comfort measures, education, advocacy support, and encouragement.
Many families hire a doula during the second trimester, but it’s never too late. We recommend booking early, especially if your due date falls during busy seasons. (July-October).
We serve families throughout our service area which is The High Country of NC and am happy to discuss travel for clients outside our standard coverage area (The Triad , The Piedmont, Charlotte Metro, & The foothills).
Absolutely! Doulas support all types of births, including medicated, unmedicated, induced, cesarean, VBAC, and high-risk births (when appropriate).
Yes. We support births in hospitals, birth centers, and planned home births.
Once active labor begins or you feel you need continuous support, we will come to you and remain with you through birth and the initial postpartum bonding period.

A postpartum doula supports families after birth by helping with newborn care, breastfeeding support, emotional encouragement, light household tasks, meal preparation, and education.
Yes! Overnight postpartum support is available so parents can rest while their baby receives attentive care. In addition please keep in mind overnight care is subject to a price increase.
Yes. We provide evidence-based breastfeeding support and can also refer you to a lactation consultant if specialized assistance is needed.

Our CNA services include:
Yes. Our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with current certifications, including BLS certification.
No. CNA services are non-medical and focus on assisting clients with activities of daily living and providing compassionate care.
Yes. Pediatric care is available depending on the child’s needs.
Yes. Transportation assistance and accompaniment to appointments may be available.
Yes. Daytime, evening, and overnight care may be available based on scheduling.
